Plan around the exact device
Read the storage and transport conditions in your model’s guide. Check which components should be removed, how the device should be protected and what power source it requires at your destination.
Ask your healthcare professional how to plan for treatment needs and an interruption while away. A device described as portable is not, by itself, a complete travel or backup plan.
Prepare a small travel folder
- The complete model, a label photo and the supplied guide.
- The approved power information and identifying details for any battery or adapter.
- The purchase record and a way to contact product support.
- Current carrier and security requirements for the actual itinerary, checked directly with those organizations.
Pack according to the care and transport instructions
Complete the specified care and drying routine before packing. Keep cleaned components protected from dirt and prevent pressure on cups, connectors or fragile parts. Use the storage arrangement described in the guide.
Do not guess temperature limits, leave liquid in a cup for travel unless expressly permitted, or assume that a plug adapter makes a power supply compatible. Keep medicine storage questions with your pharmacist or prescriber.
Check again after unpacking
